Ellacor
The ellacor® System with Micro-Coring® Technology is a minimally invasive aesthetic device designed to remove tiny “micro-cores” of skin using specially designed hollow needles. By removing micro-sized columns of skin, the system supports visible improvement in the appearance of wrinkles in the mid to lower face, without using heat and without evidence of scarring as described by the manufacturer.

What the ellacor machine is
ellacor is a device platform built around Micro-Coring®: the mechanical removal of micro-cores of dermal and epidermal tissue. The device uses a handpiece with hollow needles that penetrate and remove micro-cores of skin in a controlled pattern across the selected area.
The manufacturer highlights that it can remove up to 8% of skin in the treated area without evidence of scarring.

According to ellacor’s official Indication for Use, the ellacor® System with Micro-Coring® technology is indicated for use by medical professionals for the treatment of moderate and severe wrinkles in the mid and lower face in adults 22 years or older with Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV.
